Jim
Corrigan
is a full-time historian and journalist who has written about a variety of
topics. His work has appeared in
numerous newspapers and magazines during the past decade. He has also
authored a series of educational books for primary and secondary school
students, featuring
such titles as The Civil War in the West and Road to War: The Causes
of World War II. With The
48th Pennsylvania in the Battle of the Crater, Corrigan brings the same
unique blend of historical detail and human interest to adult readers.
He is a graduate of Penn State University and a native of Schuylkill
County, Pennsylvania—the home of the 48th Pennsylvania Infantry
Regiment. He currently resides
near Harrisburg, Pa.
